About Us

Kate and Murray Schroeder and family are 3rd generation farmers located in South West Victoria, Australia. We have owned The Braes for over 9 years.

We are 2nd generation lamb growers offering naturally grass fed Dorset cross lambs. The average age of a Braes lamb is between six and nine months.

Unlike other parts of Victoria, our region has not experienced drought conditions and seasons have been good.

We are proud to offer our product to you fresh, not frozen.
