THE BRAES LAMB - Paddock to plate.

The Braes Roast Leg of Lamb

Our family still loves to enjoy a Sunday roast, so we can sit around the table with our kids and talk about the week ahead.  What we are excited about, what we are not really looking forward to but has to be done, and of course talk about the weekend that has flown by again.  This is a great lunch to have as the kids can get involved in picking the herbs and vegies we have for it from the garden.

Fresh Herbs.  I use whatever I have growing in the garden, typically this is Rosemary, Parlsey, and Basil.

Garlic

Olive Oil

Sea Salt and Pepper.

Finely chop the herbs and crush the Garlic, add salt and pepper.

Mix with some Olive Oil and spread over The braes Leg of Lamb.

I always put my lamb into a really hot oven for 15 minutes then turn it down and slow roast it for a few hours.

Serve with Roast and Steam vegetables.

So Simple yet so enjoyable
